Launch of of new welcome to Sutherland video

August saw the launch of the first of a series of promotional films that HOST has been producing over the summer. Filmed by Highland Aerial Imaging the video shows the highlights of the Heart of Sutherland region from stunning views, great accommodation , places to eat and things to see and do. Challenging conditions
   Today is officially the first day of Spring ,but as the Beast from the East has its icy grip over most of Sutherland it feels far from springlike. Much of the area is covered by a foot of snow and with the strong icy cold wind , drifting is a real issue. Several routes in our area are closed , with snowgates shut in places  like the Struie pass.
